Presentation of the conference

The first edition of the TAD "Transition Analytics for Decarbonization" conference will be held from October 1 to 3, 2025 in Paris at the CNRS headquarters.

TAD is an international conference dedicated to the challenges in analytical chemistry related to energy transition and sustainable development. Specifically, the targeted areas are CO2 capture, utilization, and storage, recycling and end-of-life of plastics, photovoltaic solar energy, decarbonized hydrogen, bioresources, and electrical storage and batteries.

The analytical challenges of each of the six mentioned areas will be addressed over six thematic half-days. The format of each session will be identical: two keynote conferences (30+10 min) establishing the current academic and industrial limitations of the field. These will be followed by four presentations (15+5 min) selected from abstracts by the session's scientific committee. Finally, a 20-minute round-table discussion will round off the discussions on the theme. Poster communications will be visible during breaks, meals, and social events of the conference. These events will offer participants numerous opportunities to interact among researchers. Manufacturers of analytical instruments and solutions will also have the opportunity to showcase their solutions and technological innovations.
